Your Bremer Island Day Tour Experience
A perfect day for families and spirited travellers, and those that have an interest in a real Top End experience. This tour is for those seeking a truly Territorian experience.
Children 12 years and under are free.
You can arrive in your boat onto the island from 10am until 4pm.
The restaurant is open to serve tea, coffee, soft drinks & snacks upon arrival
Lunch Service. Our succulent menu is available:
12:00pm - 2:00pm Wednesday & Sunday
The bar opens at 11am serving cocktails, beer & wine including a range of non-alcoholic beverages.
*Please note that Banubanu Beach Retreat is a fully licensed venue. Guests are not permitted to bring their own food or alcohol to the island. Under no circumstances are guests to bring eskies from their boat onto the beach.
We offer a range of meals, drinks, and barista coffee from our restaurant and bar to enjoy during your stay. Refillable water bottles are welcome.

By bringing your own boat to Banubanu Beach Retreat, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Failure to do so may result in refusal of access to the retreat.
At Banubanu Beach Retreat, we welcome visitors arriving by private boat; however, to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, we have established the following terms and conditions:
1. Mooring & Anchorage
- Private boats are not permitted to use Banubanu Beach Retreat’s mooring facilities under any circumstances.
- All boats must anchor offshore at their own risk, ensuring compliance with maritime safety regulations and local anchorage laws.
- The retreat accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of vessels due to weather conditions, tides, or any unforeseen circumstances.
2. Marine & Environmental Regulations
- Boat owners must adhere to all Northern Territory marine laws, including speed limits, waste disposal, and protected marine zones.
- The waters surrounding Bremer Island are environmentally sensitive; no waste, sewage, or pollutants may be discharged.
- Fishing is only permitted in accordance with local fishing regulations, and no fishing is allowed in designated sanctuary zones.
3. Safety & Liability
- All visitors arriving by private boat do so at their own risk. Banubanu Beach Retreat assumes no responsibility for personal injury, vessel damage, or loss of property.
- Boat owners must ensure their vessel is properly equipped with safety gear, including life jackets, EPIRB, and communication devices, in case of emergency.
- In the event of an emergency, boat owners are responsible for arranging their own assistance or towing services.
4. Access to Banubanu Beach Retreat
- Visitors arriving by private boat must notify the retreat in advance of their intended arrival.
- Access to the retreat's facilities, including the restaurant and beach areas, is subject to availability and may require prior booking.
- Day visitors may be required to pay a landing fee, which contributes to maintaining the pristine environment of Bremer Island.
